News for this edition: Aside from welcoming university students, we are also expecting essays from graduate and/or master students. To be an elegible student, you have to fullfill one of these requisites:

  • Regular undergraduate or graduate students born after January 1st, 1985.
  • Undergraduate or graduate students who graduated in 2010 or 2011 and were born after January 1st, 1985.

How to participate?
In order to participate, visit the online application form, complete your personal information and upload an essay (between 1200 and 1600 words) providing your opinion regarding any of these topics:

Covered expenses

All selected participants will enjoy the following benefits: meals during the 5th, 6th and 7th of August and admittance to a night event on Saturday August 6. Furthermore, those participants from other countries and other cities of Argentina will recieve additionally accommodation in a hotel to be confirmed, during the nights of August 4, 5 and 6 and transfers from the hotel to the different places where activities are carried out.

Important: Travel expenses to and from Buenos Aires are not included.

Help finding financial assistance for your travel expenses

There are posible options for financial help to be gained for the trip to Buenos Aires. We highly encourage you to search for sponsorship through universities, companies, student’s organizations, airlines, embassies, politic institutions and others. We have had several cases of foreign students who got the financial aid and were part of past SABF editions, travelling from countries like Brazil, South Africa, Rumania, United States, Canada and Nigeria. We know it’s indeed possible to be sponsored so don’t miss the chance of being part of this great experience! The Student Relations Department will provide you with all the neccessary assistance for you to obtain those funds. Some of our former participants tell you their stories here.
