During March 13th and 14th, Celeste Molina and I, Luciana Reznik, attended the 16th Edition of the World Business Dialogue, an international business conference organized by students of the University of Cologne (Cologne, Germany), and we wanted to share our experience with the SABF community.
The World Business Dialogue gathers 50 prominent leaders with 300 students from the entire world to boost international cooperation among the students, by means of debates, ideas and workshops.
We were pleased to see many SABFers in the conference. Ex-organizers and ex-participants coming together once again to debate the “Next Generation Business Strategies”.
Aside from the experience of hearing and speaking with prominent leaders, we had the opportunity of getting to know students from all the world, with their different cultures and ideas but with a common objective: making the world a better place.
While we were in Germany, and thanks to the Business-cum-Academia Initiative we had the opportunity to visit some German companies, foundations and organizations in order to grow our international network as well.
We had the pleasure to meet with SPAIR, BMW Stiftung Herbert Quandt, Ashoka, The Echtzeit Berlin and Plista. Each one of them received us with great energy and we had a great time sharing ideas and projects.
We wanted to thank everyone who received us, every single person that we met during the past weeks, who took the time and was eager to share different points of views, ideas, projects and tried to find ways to collaborate. All in the pursuit of a better future.
We hope to meet them again in the 9th edition of the South American Business Forum to be held on August in Buenos Aires, where we will be able to discuss about the main topic “Rethinking the Rules of the Game”. The application period is open until May 5th in our website.
