- International Solidarity Forum (ISF): 23-26 March 2015
The 12th International Solidarity Forum, an annual event of World Youth Alliance for its active members, will take place in New York on March 23-26, 2015. The theme of the ISF will be ‘Health and Education: Keys to Development’ and will bring together members from across the world, experts on issues related to health and education and diplomats.

- IAPSS World Congress: 14-18 April 2015
The International Association for Political Science Students (IAPSS) will hold in London its 2nd edition of the largest conference for students interested in Politics and Political Science. Under the topic “The Politics of Conflict and Cooperation”, this congress will focus on three core strands of social sciences: Political Science, International Relations and Political Theory. Ideal for BA, MA, PhD or post-doctoral students in these fields.

- International Youth to Youth Summit: 16-19 April 2015
Vilnus, the capital city of Lithuania, will receive 100 students from all over the world to participate in the 1st edition of this event, whose main goal is to bridge the gap between today’s world leaders and the future ones. The main topic in this conference will be the role of the youth, in different fields: social entrepreneurship, unemployment, education, decision-making processes, diplomacy and the empowerment of female youth.

- ** TalkIT: 5-7 May 2015**
The 6th edition of TalkIT will take place at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, during May 5-7 2015. This conference is ideal for students interested in sharing thoughts on the future of technology. Its theme will be “Impacts of Technology” and will focus on three axes:
o Industry 4.0 – Economy and Technology
o Bioprinting – Human and Technology
o Genetic Engineering – Environment and Technology

- St Gallen Symposium: 7-8 May 2015
The 45th edition of one of the oldest symposia in the world will be held on May 2015, and will provide the set for relevant debates on topics of management, politics, and civil society. Run at the St Gallen University, in Switzerland, gathers 200 students willing to change the statu quo. Application consists of an essay-writing competition, whose winner (the most prestigious) receives The St. Gallen Wings of Excellence Award of 20 000 EUR.

- Global Initiatives Symposium (GIS): 13-17 July 2015
This 7th edition of the international student forum will take place in Taiwan on July 2015. Its goal is to provide opportunities for the exchange of ideas, thoughts, dialogue between students and global leaders, focusing on a main topic. This year’s is: “From Individual to Influential”.

- The Youth Ag-Summit: 24-28 August, 2015
This conference will focus particularly on the overpopulation issue that is concerning our world, and how to feed the increasing population with the limited available resources. Thought for 18-25 year-olds, the summit will be held in Canberra, Australia and will gather 100 minds that will share ideas on how to solve this matter with experts on the field.

- Global Entrepreneurship Summer School: September 2015
The 8th edition of this major event will take place on September 2015 and will gather 35 students from around the world, in Munich, for 10 days of intense entrepreneurial work. The goal of this Summer School is to create a product that solves a global issue and pitch it to investors. Aimed for entrepreneur-wannabes.

- International Conference on Energy and Sustainability: 2-4 September 2015
The world economy is fuelled by energy. Resources depletion and severe environmental effect resulting from the continuous use of fossil fuels has motivated an increasing amount of interest in renewable energy resources and the search for sustainable energy policies. The 6th edition of this international event will take place in Medellín, Colombia between the 2nd and 4th of September 2015.

- IdeaLab: 8-9 October 2015
IdeaLab is a start-up conference held in Vallendar, Germany and entirely run by students of the WHU University. For over a decade, this event has been gathering experienced entrepreneurs, investors and students eager to become the next founder of a successful start-up. Its characteristic relaxed atmosphere labels it as a different kind of conference.

Closing the list, two conferences that are closely related with the South American Business Forum: the World Business Dialogue and the Asia Pacific Week. Unfortunately, the application period for the first one has already ended (the forum will be held next March). For the second event, the Organising Team has not informed the corresponding dates yet; we highly recommend to stay tuned in the next few weeks.
The 11th edition of the South American Business Forum will be held in Buenos Aires on August 6-8 2015. Applications are received between February 2nd and May 3rd, under the topic “The Challenge of Inclusion”. The event is free of charge (though transportation fees to and from Buenos Aires are not covered).
