HPAIR’s Asia Conference regular submission deadline at May 1st!
Today we want to share with you the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations, Harvard University‘s largest annual student event in Asia.This year is having its 20th Anniversary conference.
For 20 years now, annual HPAIR conferences have served as a forum of exchange, facilitating discussions concerning the most pressing issues in Asia, whether social, economic or political.
Past speakers have included Ban Ki-Moon (UN Secretary General), Jeffrey Sachs (Director at Earth Institute) and Fred Hu (Chairman at Goldman Sachs Asia).
The Asia Conference will take place from August 19 to 23, 2011 in Seoul, South Korea and will be hosted by the prestigious Yonsei University.
The event is a great opportunity to learn from the leaders of diverse fields and to participate in helping understand and shape Asia’s future. As a conference delegate, you will be able to:
- Build long-lasting relationships with motivated students and professors from top universities across the world
- Learn from professionals and leaders of a variety of fields, engaging in discussion and discourse on the most pressing challenges in Asia today
- Participate in panels, workshops, plenary sessions, and field trips to gain a multi-dimensional perspective of the challenges in Asia
