The main topic this year is*** “Global Objectives, Collaborative Actions”*** . We believe that when taking decisions to face the main challenges we have today, it is increasingly necessary to think of solutions with a global approach.  To direct our actions towards a sustainable future, we must all work together, everyone from their own place.

Every day, we have the opportunity to collaborate with the rest. There are many situations where we do it and many more in wich we could. What if all of us collaborate to make a completely updated traffic status app? How much we could recycle if we could create more sharing networks of used stuff? Although the collaboration of each of us individually is the first step we should take to make some change in hour planet, what we can do as individuals is not enough. All this actions may have no impact if companies and governments do not have the same kind of ideas. It is increasingly common to speak about  models of cooperation between companies to stay competitive. A good example is the airline alliances such as One World and Star Alliance. It is also a tendency for many years the alliances between countries like the European Union, Mercosur, the ALCA, among others.

*Collective intelligence, regional integration, generation Y, activism, 2.0  *selection *and *corporate *social *responsibility are just some of the issues that are related to this hypothesis. We invite you to read more about the topics in the SABF ‘s web page.
