European Spring Institute! (ESI)

The Center of Public Policy announces the 10th edition of European Spring Institute (ESI) which gathers university undergraduate students from all over the world with the object of spending their holidays in a dazzling different way, in an unique place where there is academic and cultural exchange. During 7 days, the 60 selected students could participate in a event where they could combine intense academic courses together with activities of different social and cultural types.

SABF 2010: Applications are open!

After a succesful Presentation a little more than a month ago, the SABF 2010 opens today, January 20th, the registration period for its sixth annual edition, which will take place on August 6th, 7th and 8th of the current year in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

As usual, in this new application period, we expect to receive promising essays from young university students from any country and culture.

This years´ main topic is “Boosting our actions in the New Decade”, from which derive the following sub-topics:

  • Sustainable businesses: a global and feasible solution?
  • Synergy: the road to a bigger impact in society
  • Citizen Participation: assuming an active role in change

We invite you to sign up in apply.sabf.org.ar and complete the application process, writing your essay and telling us a little about yourself. In order to be elegible you must be a University student in your first undergraduate career, or a Post-graduate university student of 2009 and 2010, born from January 1st, 1980 and afterwards.

The top 100 essays selected by an independent jury panel will have the chance to attend this 3-day long unique experience in the SABF’s sixth edition.

We invite you all to participate in the 40th St. Gallen Symposium, which is held from the 6-7 May 2010 at the University of St. Gallen. Every year, the International Students’ Committee (ISC) offers university students throughout the world the unique opportunity to take part in the St. Gallen Symposium. Students enter into a challenging exchange of ideas with today’s global leaders about the pressing economic and societal questions of our time.

The closing date is 1 February 2010. Up to this date, talented students from all over the world are invited to hand in their contribution, dealing with the main topic of this year Entrepreneurs – Agents of Change. The requirements for this year have changed and those interested in applying for this 40th edition of St. Gallen Symposium should be from regular master, post-graduate career or any other equivalent

The authors of the 200 best entries will be invited to Switzerland to add their own perspective to the St Gallen Symposium – in the company of 600 entrepreneurs, top managers, politicians and scientists from more than 60 nations. The travel expenses, costs for nutrition and accommodation will be covered by the organization.
